Outline WHAT YOU DID:
I made my name in different fonts, different colors, and different design. For the letter “E” I tried to make it look like splash paint with many colors like pink, blue, white, purple and black. For the letter “V” I colored it purple with swirly designs and red, white and blue dots. For the letter “L” I colored it pink and used a metallic purple marker to make lines, and blue dots. For the letter “Y” I colored it black and did lines, dots and triangle as the design. For the letter “N” I colored it red and drew the LA all over it with the colors red and blue.

WHY YOU DID:
I made the letter “E” look like splash paint, because it’s my favorite type technique to do while i use paint. I made the letter “V’ with swirls and dots because it was simple and easy designs. I made the letter “E” with white and blue to look like the sky with clouds. I made the “L” with line because the line looked like candy to me. I made the letter “Y” with dots, triangle, and lines to make it look like the designs on the henna tattoo. I made the letter “N” with LA all over it because I’m from LA and i was born in LA.

[What is good? What is good in other’s work? I thought that Anastasia’s work was very detailed and cool. She made a illuminati on top and marble effects. I thought her work was very cool and looked very interesting. She drew very detailed patterns. I don’t really think there is anything to improve for her drawing.

First I took a canvas to work the clay on. Then I took a wire cutter to cut a piece of clay which is a earthy material that hardens when dry or heated. I picked a mold for my bowl, so that I have a hollow container to give shape. I made some coil which is a long roll of clay, and used the scoring brush to scratch the clay surface. I add some slip which is water-downed clay. I repeated this step but i made swirly.

I thought the swirlys looked cool and was easy to make so I made swirlys around the bowl. I also colored it coral inside because it looked really bright and fun. The little balls i made helped to give the bowl more design.

I thought I should have filled in the holes in the bowl so I can actually put food in it.

MYP Art Y2 Wash learner Profile

It’s when two colors are mixed by water. -How to apply wash technique?First you mix water with the paints to make it wet, then take the first color and apply it on the paper, and take the second color and add it on the first color so it’s like a color fading into another color.

He started Penman and went to Penman school. He became the youngest master penman out of 12 master penman in the world. What made him special? He mixed calligraphy into his penman to give the words and picture more life and a stronger message.

I think i tried to put picture beside the word to give the view a better understanding. I also did some different fonts on the words.

-The style of drawing letters, the size of some things, colors used, why you made it the way it appears. I mostly wanted the color to fade away as the word went on. I wanted it to look very colorful and i got the look but using different colors for different words.

I think that in my background color made the whole art look very colorful. I think Momoko’s work was very cool she did different effects with the water. I think I should have done the wash technique on a lot more other words so that it will look a lot more colorful. Talk about your work by using some of the following terms
