The Best Script and Storyboard are right HERE!

Have you guys gone to the theater to see the Dark Tower movie when it was released 2 years ago? In my own opinion, that film was pretty awesome with a lot of intense action and suspense as well as a lot of killings made throughout the film. However, I’m not here to discuss further about that film. I have something else that I want to show you…

In fact, creating the script as well as the storyboard is as challenging and interesting as the process our partners have gone through filming and editing the entire movie. In order to make these as original as it can, we decided to complete these not on our computer but by hand. Even though it looked quite bad, viewers could easily realize what the actions of the actors are going to be after viewing the storyboard since we made it simple and easy to understand. That’s what ordinary storyboarders would do while planning for a movie! Although the entire process was tough as we had to make the movie as terrific as the original movie and the entire book series, we finished both the script and storyboard in just a few days because of great teamwork! My partner and I worked together figuring the script and the storyboard out, both contributed to the creation process, and discussed about further fixes. That’s why I think our script and storyboard may be the best we have ever created! (That’s the first time I have ever done this by the way.) In my own opinion, with the script and storyboard really awesome, the final movie our partners in the US are filming is going to be super awesome as well.

However, something happened unexpectedly…

Even though we did some planning, as you can see below, and finished all the required parts on time… But this happened.

Below is the summary of the 1st book, in which my partner and I wrote before the script is made as the basis of both the script and the storyboard.

Even though I have wanted to show you the final product, I couldn’t because our partners did not share our video before the due date. I was super excited about the final product as our script and storyboard were so awesome, but that feeling decreased day by day as the due date neared. I have waited for their response for a long time, and I feared that if they didn’t send us the movie on time, I couldn’t share it with my classmates and all of you who are currently reading this blog post. Sorry if this blog post made you feel depressed or troubled but don’t blame me… My partners and I completed all the required work on time but we were totally annoyed about the postponement of the release of our movie here. >_<

So always remember… Communications and collaboration are equally important.

In my own opinion, what made our script and storyboard pretty awesome was because of effective collaboration and communication. With that, my partner and I were able to finish these required work on time and as awesome as they can be. There may be an issue with our partners’ collaboration as well as communicating with us that resulted in the postponement of our movie and us being super annoyed by this. Plans will always fail without efficient communication and collaboration if you are doing it with a partner or more. I thought the final product would be interesting and the best student-made movie ever, but insufficient communication and collaboration of our partners would probably make this dream unachievable for now.

And make sure you turn in every work on time.

Not turning in your work on time would cause some serious issues with yourself, your partners, teachers, and parents as well. Your partners may be annoyed of you not sending the final product to them, causing them inconvenience. This can also deduct your grade as well, and your parents would be worried about your failing grade. For your and your partner’s own good, make sure to turn in all your work on time. I’m extremely annoyed of my partners right now because even though we did finish and send them the script and storyboard on time, they didn’t send us the movie by the time this blog post in due on Monday. We anticipated the movie so much due to the successfulness and awesomeness of our script and storyboard but it turns out that this anticipation and eagerness has turned into depression, anger, and dissatisfied with their work as the due date nears. We would probably never witness the greatness of our movie when we had the time to look at movies that other partners in the US had filmed! WHAT A DISPLEASURE!

  1. Perhaps the movie makers’ due date was after your post due date. If they’ve finished the movie, maybe you want to view and include it in this post, and that could change your final text section?

    1. Oh of course I will just wait for them to send me the video and do some editing if they really sent me our video.
      Thanks!
