Long-Term Fitness Project Update – February 2022

Before I start updating yall on the progress I had throughout this past month, I have some sad news to make.

First of all, I accidentally injured my right pinky toe while helping to clean the house before the Chinese New Year holiday. As such, I wasn’t able to speed-walk for the first two weeks of February while I waited for my injury to heal. I feared that my weight would increase uncontrollably as a result of this injury, but turned out that this was not the case (see below.)

Second, this is the second to last CAS blog post that I will ever make on my blog because next month is the month that our CAS journey concludes. I want to continue doing CAS forever but unfortunately, next month is the end. Tune into my final blog post next month as I reflect upon my a-year-and-half journey in the world of CAS.

Without further ado, here are the proofs of the sessions I completed throughout the month of February.

Despite my unexpected foot injury, I am happy to report that there were no significant changes to my body measurements…

  • Weight: 78.5 –> 78.4 kg
  • BMI: 27.5 –> 27.4
  • Body Fat: 22.8 –> 23.2%

Oh also as a nice ending to my CAS journey I have decided to propose another service experience. As I have been contacted by Ms. Roth to give some advice to fellow juniors as they commence their college applications journey and found my previous Q&A sessions with seniors pretty boring, I have decided to come up with a project that could make it more interesting for current juniors. It was previously planned as a potential collaborative project but I decided to scrap plans for that to allocate more time to prepare for the upcoming mock exams. It will take the form of a short video formatted like a commercial starring myself giving some advice to the juniors, specifically on procrastination because I find it very easy for them to lose track of time and that time management is a very crucial skill for them to have in order to survive through the next year and a half. I have already finished writing the script for it and hopefully, I can start filming it after I come back from the 3-day break and complete the project just before the mocks start. Super excited to complete my CAS journey with this meaningful service experience!
