It’s Christmas! Can’t say I did much more than I did during the first half of December.

Action: Physical actions during the colder days do give a different feeling to the harsh training during summer. And though reflecting on workouts and sports do not offer me profound knowledge of how I view the world, I can say that it is easier walking outside now, as working out has helped the strange situation on my ankle. My two outgrown bones on my ankles defined a lot of my boundaries in sports, being able to negate it however little, fills me with comforting gratitude.

Creativity: On the creative side of things, I’ve been continuing on different stories, but I do want to talk about a very specific piece of fiction that I have decided to rewatch: Gravity Falls. And what a story that is, I haven’t started yet but I do want to think a bit more about the story and what it means on the surface level and a little deeper. To me, it is an incredible cartoon that captures many elements of what it means for us to be explorers, human curiosity, and our drive to learn about the world around us. A deep story when we look at its many symbols, too many to list even, then think about what the story is telling us. Oh well, we’ll see more next time.
