All About the Roman Republic

 

This unit (unit 1) talks about the Roman Republic’s forming and ending process, the geography of Rome, history of Rome, and the expansions of Roman Republic. I’ve also learned about how Etruscan and Greek influences affected Rome. For example, the Etruscan bloody slave fights has been adopted to Rome and was given a new name: gladiator games. Also, in this unit, it talked about the Greek geography and the all kinds of Greek influences.  The key concept of System is: the expansion of the Roman Republic’s benefits had outweighted the costs, Many Etruscan and Greek influences have been accepted and adopted by Roman citizens, and Alexander the Great brought Greek ideas to far places and even in Judea. I’ve improved in this unit by self-making Powtoon education videos so I can remember all of the Greek and Roman history.
