- Create a slideshow in Google Slides
- Download each slide by going to File > Download as > PNG
- Files download to Chromebook – not Google Drive
- Locate them by going to the Apps Menu > Files
- Open WeVideo (wevideo.com)
- Give WeVideo permission to use Google Drive
- Click Create New Video
- Click upload media
- Use CTL + Click to choose multiple images
- Click open in the bottom right
- Switch to timeline view by going to the menu
- Add transitions by dragging them between the slides
- Click the microphone to add narration
- After you are finished, and if you like it, click the checkmark to upload it to your presentation
- If your audio is longer than your slide, drag the right edge of the slide to the right
- Repeat adding audio
- Review by sliding the green playhead to the beginning of your presentation
- Beware long pauses in your presentation, review and edit audio if needed
- Publish by clicking the publish button at the top of the screen
- Make a title for your video
- Make sure Google Drive is in color
- Choose 720p HD
- Choose public or private
- Don’t worry about the processing
- When it is finished, the video will show up in your Google Drive
- Share with your teacher, or move to a shared folder
