This weekend, the Street Art Club from our school held a charity performance at Mega Mall to showcase their results over the year. Several other clubs also set up club booths to show support for the performance. Red Cross Club took advantage of this opportunity to host a charity sale. We sold freshly-made drinks and popsicles as refreshments for the audience watching the performance. The cost of our products are pretty cheap anyway, so there was a pretty big profit margin. Overall, the charity sale was pretty successful. We still had a hard time advertising to non-school-related personnel as usual, which is an advertising problem the exec team needs to reflect on. Even though we already purchased less to avoid leftovers compared to the last outside-school charity sale Red Cross hosted, I feel like even fewer products were needed, as we were almost unable to sell all of our drinks out. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the relaxing afternoon. SAC really worked extremely hard for this event, and I’m so glad to see this event ended as a blast. A recap of the event is embedded below.
