In the blink of an eye, I’ve grown from a middle schooler into a freshman in high school, back to the bottom of the food chain. With the title “high school”, every single thing seemed so much more stressful, and I guess it’s time for me to be responsible and have a fresh new start. Thinking back to the good old times in middle school, with tardies that didn’t count, grades that didn’t matter, and early lunches; high school, on the other hand, is absolutely different. When everything counts into college, an invisible but strong burden just instantly falls onto your shoulder and pushes you down, and I’m still struggling to stand up. As a result, I’ve set up some goals for this year. First, of course, I would want to get good grades with straight As, leaving a good record on this very first year of high school. Secondly, I would want to get into sports team, as well as learning how to manage time better with different activities still going on at the same time. Last but not least, I want to show up every class on time. Finally, I would also want to step out of my comfort zone and get to know more friends. All in all, I’m really looking forward to an amazing year!
