I was bored at midnight, so I thought since I’ve had the same hairstyle for almost years, why not just step out of my comfort zone and try something new. As a tragic result, I cut my hair into bangs. It was a regretful decision, but I anticipated the outcome beforehand anyway so hahahaha ~you only live once~ 🙂🔪!!!! I didn’t want to go to the barbers to make my bangs look nicer, because I knew that would only give me another excuse to blame someone else for my own actions. gotta learn to be responsible (just a nicer way to comfort myself that I messed up 😀)!!

still ugly but now an uglier watermelon 🙃🍉

Well, on the bright side, it’s remediable. Hair can always regrow, and if you think of it that way, it doesn’t feel that bad after all. Plus, stepping out of your comfort zone once in a while is always good. The last time I had bangs was sixth grade in elementary, and cutting my bangs made me feel like I’m reliving old times. Honestly, I’m quite surprised at how fast and relatively unwavering it took me to act this time because usually, I’m an indecisive and overly self-conscious person who is always worried and concerned about what others think about me and my appearance. Even though this is a seemingly small change (just bangs, after all), it’s actually quite a big move for me because I’ve never done a transformation like this to myself before, as I’ve always been afraid of changes and people’s feedback that come with these changes. Although I always say that I’m ugly with these bangs and stuff, on the inside I’ve long embraced these bangs from the moment I decided to cut them and viewed it simply as an exploration journey to see what kinds of hairstyle fit me and what doesn’t.

aNywAYsss, yeah!! Cutting your bangs isn’t the best thing you can do at 12am, but it was cool!! If you don’t mind being laughed at by your friends (s/o to belinda and countless others – you know who you are ugh 🙄) and waiting for weeks for your hair to regrow, then do it!!! We can be in this together yay! 😃
