In this unit, four summatives in total are required. The first one we’re supposed to do was a TIEA analyzing the function of religion or spiritual beliefs in the book. The second one was book snaps taken throughout the entire book annotating the content in terms of audience, formal and stylistic features, context, and others. Then, we did a class discussion on one of the excerpts of the book to help us have a better understanding of the events in the book. Last but not least, we wrote a blog post on misunderstandings in our lives, in the book, and in another literary product (book, movie, song, etc.), then commented on our classmate’s blog posts. After that, we did a one-pager on a chosen range of the book. Finally, we chose a topic to focus on and filmed a verbal analysis of an excerpt of the book related to that topic.
