Teenage Relationship

In these days, more and more students started to have relationships with another, especially for teenagers. In Kaohsiung American School, there are couples virtually in every grade, from 8th to 12th grade, all over the school. Therefore, the reporter interviewed a couple in 9th grade.
The relationship between the 9th grade couple has already lasted for 5 months. Corresponding to the boy Charles, he said that being in a relationship makes his school life more complete. In addition, his parents is fine for him having relationships as long as it is not too excess. Moreover, the girl Jasmin agrees with Charles. She believes that relationship makes her feel better and more comfortable mentally. Also, her mom is fine with her having relationships. As a conclude, they both think that relationship brought them happiness.
However, one bystander in middle school claimed that teenage relationships might make couples not able to focus on their school work. On the other hand, another witness thinks it’s too young for them to have relationship.
It’s good to have someone to share feelings with, but is it appropriate? Some parents may think yes, but the majority do not. For example, a woman Chen, claimed that boys and girls should be friends with each other, instead of boyfriends and girlfriends, or else their world would be limited, and they lose a chance to discover the classmates around them. Also, survey shows that having a relationship in high school is apparently more appropriate then in middle school based on the age.
Research somehow agrees with this interpretation. It points out that relationship will be more long-lasting as we grow. However, it demonstrates that teens tend to have relationships just to have fun. It’s not likely not last long because at this point, teens don’t take these relationships seriously and tend to look more for physical attraction rather than inner quantities. As a result, as teens turn into adults, they will start to value a person’s inner quantities before having a relationship with him/her, and the teenage relationship they have will end.
Is there any way to prevent a teenage relationship from ending? Indeed, there is. In order to make relationship stable, we need a combination of both attraction and closeness (crush just contains attraction). To be close with another, learn to give and receive, reveal your true personality and feelings, listen, support plus accompany your lover no matter what happens.
Indeed, relationship is lovely, stunning, and is especially extraordinary for teens. But before accepting it, first measure the advantages, disadvantages, and if having a relationship at such a young age is appropriate for you.
