Hi, my name is Curie. I’m 13 years old. My dream is to become a professor, just like my mom and dad. First of all, basketball played an important role in my life, it is my favorite sport and also one of my dearest friend. It makes me forget all the unhappiness in my life that no one else could do. Secondly, I’m currently an eighth grader and this is my second year in KAS. KAS was a new environment for me, but I found who I truly am here. Transferring to KAS was such a big adjustment, but once you accustomed to the environment, you will find here fascinating, cool, educational and friendly. I made many friends here and we exchanged many happy and funny moments with each other. They supported and comforted me through every up and down and been so supportive that I could never ask for. I’m really thankful to have such nice friends. My family members are my dad, my mom, my brother and me. My dad is strict but nice. He has high expectations for me and my brother. He wishes me and my brother can get into good college and have a happy school life in KAS. My mom is principled and kind. She is responsible and hard-working. We are close. She cares about my grade but she never scolds me. My brother studies in KAS too. He is now a sophomore and he is humorous. He is naive but he treats me very well. He often plays basketball with me even though it is not his favorite sport. He also teaches me math problems that I don’t understand. Last year, my left ankle was injured due to over-playing basketball. Fortunately, after months of rehabilitation, my ankle was recovered. I’m looking forward to participate in the basketball season this year. All in all, I feel very happy and thankful for everything I have now. I wish my future is also full of happiness :))
