Peoples should not hunt sharks because many sharks are being killed. This causes the ecosystem to go off balance, and shark fin, actually doesn’t have that much flavor. I t also contains small chemical material called ’’mercury’’.
The first reason why peoples should stop killing sharks is because according to the shark fin soup website, more than ten hundred thousand tons of shark fins had been cut off from the sharks each year. The whole sharks’ bodies have been killed just for the fin. Many shark fins have been taken by high price and only provided for rich family only, but now, every person in huge state like China wanted to eat it. Before, only two to three tons have taken for rich and royal families, but now, a thousand tons died each year. That is why we cannot see that many sharks as before.
Secondly, killing sharks can cause the ecosystem to go off balance. I wonder what is going to happen to the ecosystem if shark killing keeps on going, It is just a matter of time before sharks go extinct and the tradition disappears. If shark goes extinct, then its prey will overgrown and quickly eat up its prey population as it make the ecosystem goes out of balance. Have you ever think about it? Sea population goes of extinct with no solutions; you better start to think about it right now.
Lastly, shark fin soup does not taste so good, it is just a mixture of other stuff that just make people think the flavor comes from the fin. Most people only want to kill shark because of wanting money. It also contain a chemical material called “mercury” to that can peoples bodies, I can cost severe brain damage to babies. So it is best just to drink the and not eat the fin that contain mercury
Even though shark fisherman says they need the money, there is still a lot of ways to earn money, rather then killing something to earn it. Although it was the main job for that worker, there’s still tons of job that can earn money without using any shark life. You might say that shark fin soup is what you sell, but there is still a vegetable shark fin soup made o0f other flavor. You can still make shark fin soup using different material.
At last, I want to remind everyone that to stop eating the shark fin, so that the mercury wont hurt your child, even if you are a student or a not married person, please, stand on my side to argue about this! Couldn’t you imagine the bloods on the ship? Do not kill things just to make money as salary.
