Tulip Under a Microscope

In science class, we are learning to use the microscope.  We practiced setting up the microscope and adjusting the slide correctly so that we can look at a specimen at 3 magnifications:  40x, 100x and 400x.  The slides are premade.  Later we will learn to make our own slides.

 

My partner and I chose to look at a part of a tulip under a microscope.  If you didn’t already know, a tulip is a type of flower.  This is what it looks like:
