This advertisement is stereotype. The right side of the hamburger is from Mcdonald and the left side of the hamburger is from other fast food restaurants. Mcdonald wants us to think that their hamburger is very big and have fresh buns, meat, and other fresh food. They want to let us think that other fast food have thin buns, meat, and also not fresh. They made the left side of the hamburger has darker lighting, this makes people think it’s not fresh, but actual the color are both the same.
This advertisement is trying to make the reader think that 2010 Toyota Camry LE is very bad compared to 2010 Chevy Malibu LTZ. They show us facts about the car. For example, they say 2010 Chevy Malibu LTZ has Powertrain Warranty: 100,000 miles/ 5 years and 2010 Toyota Camry LE has Powertrain Warranty: 60,000 miles/ 5 years. This let us think that 2010 Chevy Malibu LTZ is better, but they didn’t tell us what’s the good things about 2010 Toyota Camry LE. The Chevy could have choice other cars like Honda and Forde. There are many cars that are better than Chevy, but they want to make their company look better. The quote “may the best car win” is letting the reader think that Chevy is the best car, they even put a Chevy logo.
This advertisement is about nurse. This advertisement is stereotype because most people think that only girls can be a nurse. This poster says, “are you man enough”, which makes people think that girls should not be a nurse at the first time. There are many men in that picture. makes it even more stereotype.
This advertisement is about McDonald’s burger. This advertisement is trying to let us think that McDonald is very cheap. The quote “real good…and still only 15c” make us think that the hamburger is very cheap, it only cost 15c. But actual they didn’t tell us which product cost 15c.
This advertisement is stoping women from drinking. They are saying that women shouldn’t drink. The quote “If you drink like a man you might end up looking like one.” It saying that only man drink. This will make a man look bad on this poster. But not every man drink. This poster only talks about woman should not drink, but never talk about man should not drink. The people who made this poster clear doesn’t care about man. They only talk about what would happen to a woman if they drink.

This advertisement is about cleaning products. The writer is trying to make attention to the woman, who are housewife. All the advertisements shown in the post all have stereotype and propaganda. It’s interesting to read the stereotypes you found in the post since the way I find stereotypes are different from yours. For example the 5th image, I think it’s stereotyping that women should be drink. Drinking is only for men.
