Upon an unexpected invite, I stumbled upon the opportunity to start an initiative with my friend. Taking baby steps, we brainstormed ideas on how we will prompt dialogues on gender issues in Taiwan. The project was found on the grounds of “gender equality” remaining a stigmatized topic to discuss in Taiwan. In this initiative, we strive to disseminate information, offer perspectives on current issues, and encourage people to share experiences of gender issues.

Below is one of the artworks made for the project. Without a drawing pad, I simply used the trackpad on my laptop to create these one-line drawings. To get the shape of the head, I had a reference in the background to create the silhouette. Starting this initiative is merely the first step–there is much more to it!
