Figurative Languages in Songs

For this assignment, we formed groups of three or four and explored figurative languages in songs. There are 8 required figurative languages, which are simile, personification, alliteration, metaphor, hyperbole, repetition, onomatopoeia, and imagery. After we identified the figurative language in song, we explained and tried to interpret the purpose of the figurative language and the reason why the artists decided to use it. I worked with Sandy, Jon, and Claire on this project.

Here’s our video, enjoy! 🙂
