Poetry is not only a genre but also a form of art. By using existing works, we created our own poems by remixing them. Here, I created four types of poems: idiom poem, song title poem, slogan poem, and black-out poems. For the first three poems, I looked up for idioms, song titles, and slogans that I’m in favor of and used them as lines in my poems. Each idiom, slogan, and song title has its own meaning, but we used them in our poems to convey our own thoughts.
Idiom Poem :: Failure and What Comes Before
Idle hands are the devil’s tools
The ball is in your court
At the drop of a hat
Make a pitch
Like there’s no tomorrow
–
If wishes were horses, beggars would ride
Between the devil and the deep blue sea,
know your own mind
before pangs of conscience
–
In the heat of the moment
Don’t worry your pretty little head
Every cloud has a silver lining
–
If you make a hames of something,
look at the bright side
as it’s a blessing in disguise

Song Title Poem :: Messed Love
What do you want from me?
my youth?
my money?
my love?
–
R U Mine?
because I’m out of mind
I’m a mess
who is wasted and
lost on you
in this perfect illusion
–
snap out of it
I don’t wanna
make you love me
because I’ll suffer
in such video games
–
only fools
fall for you
R.I.P 2 my youth
I’ve become wiser
I’ll never go
back to December

Slogan Poem :: Go Fun Your Life
Go fun yourself
Life should be good to the last drop
in search of incredible,
explore beyond limits
’cause the greatest tragedy is indifference
–
Time is the new currency
so get more out of now
live by the art of being unique
–
Go fun yourself
reach out and touch someone
relationships matter
you don’t need wires to communicate
–
keep on thinking
the art of being unique
is taking you forward
It’s your world. Take control
