2019 mid oct. – CASting the Roles in my Life

The first week of October was a bummer where I couldn’t fulfill my activities portion of CAS due to my illness. However, although not as engaged with activities, I’m still keeping up with my creativity and service portion!

Model United Nations (MUN) is the main part of my life at this moment, I’d say. With the eleventh annual session of Southern Taiwan Model United Nations (STMUN) in two months, the preparation process is starting to get a bit stressful, yet I’m enjoying myself in it as much as possible. Since some of the information is rather confidential, I wouldn’t share it publicly on the web. Planning for STMUN involves creativity with the selection of the topics for debate, interpretation of the connection between the theme and the conference, and the design of the website, just to name a few. I believe this could also count as service since it involves advocacy for multiple issues (as listed on the website) and educates young students about the global issues we have in hand.

Besides my spontaneous act of CAS with MUN, I’m also keeping myself engaged with my bullet journal. After sharing my thoughts with Ms. Melnick, I realize how I’m not necessarily having fun with my process of bullet journaling. With that said, I decided to start learning how to make my bullet journal fun, creative, and purposeful at the same time. I did some reflection by going back to my research/preparation process on my bullet journal. Stay tuned for updates!
