Today, we continued writing the poems in our writing notebooks or on our Google doc. On Google doc, I wrote the poem for summer under the theme of childhood. I was stuck since I couldn’t really think of analogies that could describe childhood. As I was gathering my photos, I found inspiration from a picture of a coast taken in Penghu. The ocean and the concrete blocks beside the road gave me inspiration, thus I used the waves to describe childhood and the concrete blocks to describe the pain of growing up.

We also finished gathering the photos for summer. However, we were facing difficulties since I am having a hard time to find photos that can represent spring, autumn, and winter. Finding photos that can represent the seasons is not a hard task. The part that is actually difficult is that we want our photos to be able to relate to our poems.
We are currently facing obstacles due to our efficiency. For example, on our time table, we planned to finish gathering our photos on June 8 and to finish editing them on June 10. However, according to our progress right now, it’s unlikely for us to finish organising our photos until June 13th, which is tomorrow. The poetry-writing is going pretty well even though there were a lot of brainstormings to do, and we were slightly having writer’s block.
