Ode Annotation:

Ode Poem:
“An Ode to Movies”

His Name is Charles Foster Kane,
his mysterious final words, Rosebud

A trio of escapees goes on a series of adventures
As they learn about the true meaning of life

A peaceful son struggles to take up his father’s mantle
And become the Godfather of the family business

A boy sits in the front of a computer, a TV, and a massive movie screen
And witnesses great stories unfold right before his eyes

Laughter, grief, nervousness, and most of all, fascination
All emerge from within me as I sit in a seat next to a box of popcorn.

Sick Annotation:

List Poem: “Bookstore”

ah, the bookstore!
I always want to read more.
I got a great literature,
with an author’s signature.
I read a great comic
About society’s anomic
I checked out the DVD section,
And brought some to my collection
I bought a guidebook of the city
With pictures, all pretty
I walked out the store, what a day!
Oh wait, I still need to pay!
