In this unit, we explored and learned about the often seen but unrecognizable bias, whether it’s in media articles, commercials, ads or just common stereotypes of people we all have of people. Through analyzing these different type of media, I learned about how others use these things to manipulate others to think certain ways as well as how and why people can become more aware of these biases.
In the first part of the summative, I annotated 2 news articles and wrote an analysis of it, analyzed one printed ad, commercial, music video, song lyrics and TV show. For part 2 I created a video that showcased bias and stereotypes and how it affects the general public.

Part 2:
The reason I did part 2 was I originally thought of the bias people have about different people, and my hypothesis was that people may have different thoughts on the same thing when it depends on the person saying it, which was why I decided to use a few quotes gathered from 2 different people and ask others about them to see whether their thoughts on the quotes change after knowing who said the quotes.
