Walk two Moons

I  just finished a book called Walk two moons by Sharon Creech and I think it’s a book that makes me think a lot more, but I don’t really like this book. A lot of times I’m confused by the book and a lot of times I’m feeling weird when I  read this book because the characters are kind of weird sometimes.

However, The main character, Sal, her mom is gone and she is alone with her dad, grandpa and grandma. She is going on a journey which is finding her mom and get her mom back before mom’s birthday; but on the trip she met some friends and some friends are rood, like Peobe, she is really mean to her mom, and after all Peobe’s mom left! So Peobe started being mean to others and I believe that it is because her mom went a way and she was spoiled but her mom. I said the word “spoiled” because she needs her mom to do everything. In the mean time Sal is having a bad time on the journey, her grandparents are so weird, for example, Sal’s grandma went to the old faithful, and grandma went pass the line where you shouldn’t be or else you will be burned. At last Sal’s mom died and I think Sal knows that in the beginning of the book. I like that the author makes alot of different things at once and makes people confused but it isn’t meaning that confused is bad, this book the confused is wanting to make you find out how are you going to be not confused, you need to keep reading the book to find out. I also like the way that the author is sometimes making this book funny but sometimes making it sad.  Just like I said, it isn’t my favorite book and I don’t really like it but the way that the author make this book make me made the rating of this book for me, higher but I still don’t like it. I think if there is another book of walk two moons or the second book of walk too moons I think it will be something like, they are going on another trip to her mom’s place and then move back to their old house, where they like. Also the second book might be a very happy and funny book.

I think the Author Sharon Creech should tell us if Sal knows that her mom is dead because after reading it  I was confused. Why would Sal go on that trip if she knows that her mom is dead already and why do she have to move to a place where she don’t like. This is where I think the book should be changed. Also I think sharon creech used a really good way to write this book but som etimes I kept reading but I just don’t get it. I wish if there is a next book she should make it funny and interesting in the beginning.
