For this month’s CAS I am focusing on cooking and what I am consuming. I’ve been on a good trend in terms of eating what I am supposed to, in order to accompany the training that I am doing. I researched the nutrients that I need aside from just staying in a caloric surplus every single day. I find it very interesting and satisfying when I know that I’ve filled myself with all the nutrients that I could take in a day. And that includes things like essential vitamins, minerals or sources of energy. I feel like the biggest takeaway is just improving my own quality of life. It is very evident to myself that as I am improving my diet and being so aware of what I am eating besides my training, it has helped me with maintaining energy and a positive mindset at all times.
Below are examples of the recipes that I would like to try, but also some of these recipes contributed to the dishes I cooked. I read the recipes and improvised to fit what I have in my house and also what fits my diet.
