Baking is never a task that is easy for me. I remember when I was little, my grandpa and I exploded a machine while trying to make bread. For this month’s CAS, I had the opportunity to bake and earn money to donate to charity. My club and my friend’s club decided to collaborate and bake brownies to sell during the performances at our school.

Although it is a new experience for me, it turned out to be very easy. My friends and I went to the bakery that my friend’s parents owned. Because it was from a mix, we just had to add in other ingredients like eggs, water and oil, then stir it and let it finish in the oven. This was interesting because it’s an example of how things can be really easy once started. It’s that initial process of getting into doing the task that might be the hardest.

As shown in the picture, we mixed the ingredients in a bowl then poured it onto the baking pan. After baked, it turned out to the brownies that we’re used to seeing.
