Skeleton Man

Skeleton Man written by Joseph Bruchac. He has published poetry, novels, and short stories. Some of his work are novel for example Dawn Land (1993) He got some awards too, for example, he got the Knickerbocker Award. He also has lots of other honor books. He is a great author because the descriptions in his story were always amazing. Skeleton Man is a horror novel; even R.L.Stine -Goosebumps Author- says, “Wow this story gave me nightmares.”
In the book Skeleton Man’s main character is Molly, she is 7-years-old. One day she found out that her parents are gone for so many days, then she waits and wait. Then a man with a bad looking and so skinny, and it was her uncle, he took Molly to his house. But the skeletons are coming!! How will she survive alone?
This book teaches me that we can’t give up, we have to keep trying, for example Molly, she survive through all these scary things, and she never gave up. So when we have trouble get help and never give up.
I like this book because the details are so good and the adjectives and vocabulary are fantastic, but this book is kind of easy for me, but you will enjoy this kind of easy book because it’s exciting. I recommend this book to some brave kids because it’s really scary.
