MR. Popper’s Penguins

This book was written by Richard and Florence Atwater, He was born in Chicago. This book got an award called  Young Reader’s Choice Award.

The story starts when Mr.Popper is an adult.One day Mr. Popper’s dad send him a huge freezing box of penguins, he love those penguins and his family loves them two. However, they live with those penguins but not so long, because they have no more money to take care of those penguins, so they started to think how are they going to do with these penguins, suddenly his kids says “ If we really can’t do it, we should send them back….” They were saying it sadly, so Mr.popper came up with a great idea he says, “ ope, we are not going to send them back but we will make a show with them!” Since everyone agreed with that, they did it. Now, they have money to keep them.

After all somehow, someway, Boston becomes so hot that the penguins couldn’t even live there, so they decided to send the penguins back to south pole. His family and he are sad they want to keep them but they know that there is no way that the penguins could live in this kind of weather.  So they take the penguins to

I like this book because it has some nice pictures and it’s cool – so many thing is different than the movie. But I see some mistake in this book for example : Spelling errors, capitalization and extra words in the sentence but it doesn’t make the book bad. I think this book for me is only 5 out of 10 because the movie is better than this book.
