Here are the outlines for my IO projects. I thought these reflect the unit very well because it requires us to include all knowledge from the unit and make connections with other units that we’ve done. For example, in my IO I made connections from this unit’s Icarus Documentary with the previous unit’s Antigone.

I thought these had adequate connections and lots to explore because of the similarities in their story. It involves one who stands up for themselves, as a rebel, to go against the unjust ruling that exists in the controversial situation.

Here, I picked another outline to show the differences between projects. This outline was for a shorter IO, a shorter recording and analysis. However, I think on a bigger scale, both projects had the opportunity to be dived into deeper. This specific project I analyzed Nike advertisements and how they project different ideas to people. Also, I looked at how things may become controversial, as well as how they can bring inspiration to create a difference and bring attention to their merchandise.

Before preparing for the IO, I organized my evidence and annotated them to help myself with ideas and connection points. We followed a list of devices to look for, it helped me think more about the technical part of the work. I thought it worked out quite well because that way, I could consider the technical part and background of the evidence and analyze it from my point of view, etc.
