For this CAS experience, I’ll be improving my hockey wrist shot accuracy. I will create simple targets for me to measure my accuracy. So targets placed on a wall of the size of half a hockey net, then I’ll see how many I could hit out of 10. My goal is to get at least 8/10. This shouldn’t be too difficult to master, but it’ll surely take some time since I only have the basic skills for these techniques.
I’ve been practicing wrist shots every day or every two days. Playing hockey is a hobby of mine and I often pick it up whenever I’m bored. It’s easily accessible for me, I sometimes just pick up a puck and a twig then practice my shot accuracy on my drawer. My next step is to create easy targets like sticking papers that are 10×10″ on the wall. I didn’t do this, to begin with, because I needed to practice my technique first. And diving straight into the hard process of nailing targets may be too advance and hence would hinder my performance.
Target/Goal shown in drawing below:
Here is the video showing my progress:
I hit all the targets in a few tries, but the top right target was my struggle. The attempt at 1:08 in the video was the closest, but I didn’t want to count it because it didn’t land on the paper, it landed on the tape.
