In Charge Of The World

If I were the Creator of the Universe

If I were the creator of the universe

I’d get rid of tomatoes,

homeworks

broccolis, and bedtimes.

If I were the creator of the universe

There’d be pinker ponies

fluffier fish, and

slower sloth.

If I were the creator of the universe

You wouldn’t have lovesickness

You wouldn’t have loss

You wouldn’t have unsolve equations

Or math exams

You wouldn’t even have math class

If I were the creator of the universe

I’d have a definite answer for chicken first or egg first

Matcha strawberry cake would be a fruit

True love and bread would both exist

And a bear who has no ears

a seed that falls asleep

would still be part of my universe.

Where I Am From

Where I Am From

I am from DVD players

from books and crayons

I am from the dust mite under the mattress.

(invisible, itchy,

it smelled like home)

I am from the fish tank

the water grass

that I used to swim and wave with.

I’m from the insurance contract and computers,

from Benson and Mandy

I’m from the snobs and moaners,

from Be Polite! and Stand Straight!

I’m from the afterlife and fortune telling.

I’m from Newiweipi and Haiweihao,

beef noodles and bouillon.

From the foreign goods, my grandmother sold,

the escape of my grandfather due to debts.

On top of great uncle’s cabinet

lying some old family pictures,

abundant get incomplete,

I am from diligence and gourmets.

Ode

Ode to Ice Cream

On hot days we eat ice cream.

It brings such joy that I could scream.
The way it looks is so colorful.

It makes every day seem wonderful.

The rich texture is undoubtedly sweet.

It’s every child’s favorite treat.

It melts in your heart and mouth.

It’s incredibly creamy and smooth.

Vanillas, chocolate, strawberry, caramel.

Gummi bears, M&M, sprinkles, oreo.

Gladdening the heart and refreshing the mind.

It helps you to leave all the troubles behind.

It’s food with imagination.

And it’s God’s best creation.

Sick

Things to Do to Fall Asleep

To count sheeps

To read a historical textbook

To drink a cup of hot milk

To listen to the clock

To rub your belly

To do math questions

To take a hot bath

To take a deep breath

And to have a nice dream
