Before we started the unit, I did not know much about work and machines. Human has developed many clever and useful technologies. These simple machines appear everywhere in our daily lives but I never notice the science behind machines.
Although I think I covered most of the criterions pretty well on my Inclined Plane Lab report, I still have many areas can be improved to reach a higher level. I included evidence in my statement when describing data results of the experiment. To receive more credits, I could elaborate my sentences with scientific reasonings and explanations on why and how the results happened.
I would like to study more about other simple machines by applying daily life examples because we only focused on one simple machine on our GRASP project. I would like to know more about other simple machines and how they are used in various areas.
Move on to the next unit of Energy, the knowledge of work and power can be tied to the same concept. Work is done when force is applied to an object. As the force performed, work can be defined as a transform of energy. In the other words, energy is capable of doing work. Besides, power is the rate of the amount of work done. The three elements are connected interactively.
