Feb: Sending cards to children in international school in Ukraine

This experience fits under the strand of creativity and service. Our discussions in IB Spanish Class inspired us to write cards to international school students in Ukraine and to show our support. With the ongoing situation in Ukraine, we thought about how can we help as students on another side of the planet.

This experience is similar to my last experience, which is to write appreciation cards to frontline workers. However, I am happy that we could show our support as a class. Moreover, we represent the Taiwanese community, as this letter sent out. I feel grateful that we have the opportunity as a group to contribute and to show support. Moreover, I realized how this international news could impact Taiwan and the whole world internationally as it interferes with various aspects such as politics and economics.

Being an international school that is about to study abroad, I think it is important that we show support, stand up for justice, and spread positivity. In that way, the world is stronger to face social issues and improve as a whole.
