If we all benefit from the unethical choices of a single individual, should we all be held morally responsible?

In my point of view, if we all benefit from the unethical choices of a single individual, we should all be held morally responsible because we are benefiting from immoral actions. What if we do not know the information or technology came from unethical progress, do we still have the responsibility? For example, HeLa cells were cultured in unethical progress, but we get this information when we were studying in school, what about other people who do not have this knowledge? It is debatable whether we should be held to moral duty. There is a Chinese idiom, “ignorance can be forgiven”. Is it true that we cannot blame unconscious people or in fact, everyone holds a responsibility?
