In this unit, we learned about a Dystopian story. Can a perfect Society exist?
Firstly, we read the assigned book “Insignia” by S.J. Kincaid. We used the sticky notes to annotate the important elements in the story. After finished the book, we read another short dystopian story. I chose “The Pedestrian” to annotate. Secondly, I wrote a TIEA for my book, and two TIEA for comparing and contrast the book and the short story. Thirdly, we designed our own perfect utopian society. I’ve created the laws, schools, citizens conditions, architecture, employment, money, transportation, environment, recreation, technology, and flag etc for my community (Attached to the document below). And I’ve drawn my map and flag (Attached to the images below).
