In Chinese New Year, what I did was that we met with alot of other family members and friends. We ate with all of them. We also went out with my grandma’s siblings. My grandmother has 10 siblings, so there was alot of people there. We went to a park that has alot of space to sit and play. There are also different stations where we can do activities. For example, we went on rafts and shot water out of our waterguns. We also went to a maze that is small, but people still can get lost inside of the maze. We also played watergolf, which we hit balls, and try to hit the ball to a round metal piece. When the ball hit the water at the ground, it might bounce a couple times before stopping. After we were done with the activities, we went to Tainan to a hotel, and hit dinner there

. The next day, we also met with my grandpa’s siblings. My grandpa also have alot of siblings. For dinner, we ate at the hotel beside love river. There, we met some of our relatives that we haven’t seen in a long time before. Everybody talked alot with each other and the food was pretty good.

 

On Thursday, we didn’t really do anything, so we went back to my grandparent’s house and ate dinner. At my grandparent’s house we played games that my aunt organized. My grandma also made stick rice cake, which was delicious. We also got our red evelopes, when we finished dinner, which is awesome.

On Friday, at night, we went to my mother’s side’s grandparents house. There my grandma and my mom cooked dinner for us. After we finished dinner, we sort of gambled with my cousins and my brother. Our parents gave us 1000 each, and the rule is that if we bet some money on a six numbers. We then roll the dice to see if you get it correct. If you get it correct, you get money, if your guess is wrong, you lose money. When we finished playing, I lost 200 NT. Overall, I think I had a fun time in Chinese New Year.
