Players Make Tournament Team, KAS Teams Fall Short: JV Tournaments

This weekend all the JV teams competed in the annual TISSA (Taiwan International School Sports Association) tournament.

The JV boys team ended up 4th after a heartbreaking loss to TES (Taipei European School) in the final game. One member of the team, who wanted to remain “sexily” anonymous, said that they could have won the game, but they made too many little mistakes, such as performing bad passes and allowing too many second chance points.

After the game, forward Justin Hung was awarded a position on the all tournament team after averaging 15 points and 14 rebound per game.

The JV girls team ended up 5th in their tournament going 2-2 in their 4 games.

The JVB boys ended up 7th with an 0-3 record. They kept every game close, but in the end were just not able to pull out a win.

However, center David Lin was awarded a place on the tournament team due to his exceptional play, as he averaged a near double double with 8.6 points per game and 10.6 rebounds per game along with 3 steals and nearly 4 blocks a game as well.
