‘We’re not dying!’- Louis Zamperini
Today I will be presenting you a new trailer made for the book Unbroken. This trailer is made by my partner in the States. This project commence as we are the directors, adding in the scripts and basic information, while their class (my partner) films the trailer and sends it over to us as we make this blog post.
This is my storyboard. Due to the fact that I am not the most gifted artistic talent on planet Earth, the storyboard I drew doesn’t look the best. I did what I can, and the script is located right below as you scroll down after each storyboard images. Just scroll down, and enjoy my creation. Keep reading this post, to enjoy Vincent’s adroit creation of the trailer!
Background information:
A young man called Louis Zamperini is having breakthrough season in his career as a runner. From a high school track team to the Olympics Team USA runner. He was bound for greatness and success, until the bloodiest war in human history happened right when he’s on the doorstep of success. He’s forced to take a dramatic turn to his career as an bombardier.
As Louie and his squads conduct bombing missions against Imperial Japan, luck runs out as on one of those missions their plane lost control and crashed, killing everyone but three, Louie himself somehow survived.Stranded on the Pacific ocean, they pushed their body to the brink as they ended up in Japanese hands about 47 days later.
The final test of his survival begins as the fate of his now belongs the soldiers of Imperial Japan. As he is relocated from to another throughout the story, each location becomes more brutal as time goes on and Japan began losing the war, so as the hope for surviving. This will show as the readers look over the trailer made by my partner 5000 miles away in the U.S.A

Aftermath Reflection:
Thanks to Mr.Williamson and Ms.Lang for allowing this assignment to happen. It’s been a pleasure working on this with someone I’m not familiar with. This just taught me more about life as you don’t always get the partner you want, but you still gotta get the job done in the right way.
As this is the first time for both parties, I did not expect much from the trailer. However the trailer was extraordinary given that my script had many difficult parts to film. For example, the part where there’s bombers involved in the script, I was thinking how they’re gonna be able to pull this off. At first I was worried sick knowing that this trailer won’t be as great since some parts are unimaginably difficult, doubts went into my mind regarding the quality of it.

Yet, thanks to the technology we have today and students who know how to utilize it, they made the trailer. When I saw the trailer, I knew it wasn’t easy despite the usefulness of technology, and I respect that hard work Vincent putted in, to make the best quality trailer. By combining the uses of digital tech, green screen, action effect, and real life acting, Vincent took my day to the next level by letting me watch such an awe-inspiring trailer.
By applying the knowledge of being a balanced individual, independent learner, and a global citizen, I have learn about teamwork. In this project, there is no way any of this would’ve worked out if one of us didn’t do the work. This means that as partners it is each of our duty to do what we’re supposed to do, so that both sides get the benefit of accomplishing the job.
Disregard where we are or how far we’re apart, we’re still in this together. Had Vincent not make the trailer, I wouldn’t have been able to write this reflective blog post. Had I not make the script nor the storyboard, Vincent wouldn’t have been able to manufacture such a magnificent trailer. This demonstrates the essence of teamwork, and being an balanced individual.

Special thanks to you, Vincent for all this hard work. I couldn’t have done the blog without your valuable contribution of that stupefying movie trailer! The technology integrated inside the trailer is surreal. Everything in there deserves a thumbs up.
It’s literally a Hollywood type of effect without enormous budgets being spent. I anticipated that the trailer wouldn’t be as great as I envisioned. I was wrong, trust brings results. I putted my trust on you and you brought an astonishing trailer to me, and I am so impressed right now, you deserve every claps of it.
Tho in some part you didn’t follow the script, I’m not gonna point it out otherwise it makes this trailer look bad. The improvisation with the technologies certainly made the trailer even better. This movie trailer is hard to make, and you pulled it off, and in the end both sides held an happy ending.
May I wish you a great summer, and hope readers will enjoy this blog post!
