Clay model building report no.5

So, after last  big project of building the pen case, I decided to build something easier this two weeks, since I wasn’t “prepared” for another big project that fast, I just made easy models this two weekPhoto on 11-15-14 at 4.34 PM
Yep, a small model of a penguin…… since I didn’t have a lot of time and necessary materials needed to build something big.

The Penguin was made the week before and I manage to finish it in time before class ended. I have been improving a lot on my clay model building skill, and this is really a piece of cake.

Yep, just another small model of the snail 🙂 , unlike the penguin the snail puts up one heck of a fight for me…. Im surprised despite all the improvements I have over the past months, this is definitely a CHALLENGE.

First of all, you gotta understand that the color of the clay, pink, is not original. You have to mix red with white and if it wasn’t from the help of Leon (not my teammate but he helped me) that helped me create the color of pink, the snail would never had been built. Beside, this week there was a unexpected turn of event of where Ms.Dietrich visit us on Thursday, and we had to delay correction of DRP/DGP to Friday, which took precious minutes away and I didn’t finish before the bell rang and class ended. I went down to Kenting and finish building the model at our family’s hotel.  I had to say this snail is tough to beat, it keeps annoying me by falling apart. The glue can’t even stick him together!!!!!!! But I guess in the end a snail can’t defeat a human muwuhahahahaha :). I guess I still a long journey to go before becoming a pro at clay model building
