Imitation is using other’s work as an example for creating your own work. In the imitation section, we first annotate the poems that we are going to imitate, and following it style, making our own poem. For some poem, we make a photostory, using our own images to make a video that can help express my poem. Below are some annotations, poems, and photostories I created:

If I Am The Teacher
If I’m the teacher,
I’d cancel homeworks,
Classworks,
Tests and exams.
Id I’m the teacher,
There will be fun games,
Comic books, and
10 mins of class.
If I’m the teacher,
You won’t have Science,
You won’t have Math
You won’t have Algebra,
or “speed = distance/time”
You won’t even have boring calculations.
If I’m the teacher,
1+1=11 will be correct
All comics will be textbook
And a person who someimes forget to use past tense,
And sometimes forget to bring their homework,
Would still be allow to
Be the teacher.

Where I Am From

Poem
Where I Am From
I am from natural disaster,
from earthquakes and typhoon.
I am from a small island
(with winters that are not cold).
I am from sacred trees,
the tall trees,
who have great smell and 800 years of history.
I am from bubble tea and chicken fillet,
from noisy night market.
I am from 布袋戲 and 歌仔戲,
I am from 鵝媽媽出嫁,
a book I enjoy.
I am from a beautiful group of people,
with beautiful hearts.
A place full of human warmth,
A place that I am proud of,
A place that is my home,
I am from Taiwan.

Ode To Friendship
Life is like a paper,
Friendship make your life colorful.
You choose the color pencil,
to decorate your life.
A warm friend can be red,
that draw the sun that shine.
A cool friend can be blue,
like how sky calm you down.
A smart friend can be gray,
to draw the correct road.
But no matter what,
A true friend will be the most important part of the picture.
They believe and trust you,
they listen and comfort you.
So why not?
Take up your pens,
and draw out the most wonderful life!
