During this unit, we discussed deeply the book called “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks”. There are a lot of medical terminologies and expertise in this book but it was somehow very interesting as the story did not just focus on those specific things. There are multiple themes that can be focused on such as race, gender, ethics…etc. I learned how the relationship between the importance of personal rights and the significance of great discovery are still very debatable things that not everyone agrees on just one side of it.
