This is a short documentary about Mike Coots and tiger sharks. Mike Coots is a surfer and he lost his leg to a tiger shark when he was 18 years old. Now he is a shark advocate and photographer. He fights for the protection of our sharks and our oceans. This video is only about 12 minutes long and the footage is pretty cool – tiger sharks really are such beautiful creatures. I would love to be able to see one close up like in this expedition. It’s important to remember that we don’t have much time to protect our oceans. Watch this short video and perhaps you can take a bit of time today to think about small steps you might take to advocate for sharks or to help our oceans because we need them if we want to keep on living on this planet.
