What It Means To Be a Communicator

To be a communicator means to be someone who tells others about their ideas. You also to listen to other people’s ideas and not make fun of them. We also have to help each other when we need help. Like for homework assignments or projects. When you’re playing a sport, it’s really important to be a communicator. You have to work as a team and tell each other your plans and ideas on how to win.

I am a communicative learner because I use different languages (English and Mandarin) to express myself and I listen to other people’s ideas. Like when we were choosing a game to play as our final project, Sydney wanted Double Tag and we agreed. When we play games like basketball, soccer or capture the flag, we have to work together to win. Like in capture the flag, we planned to have one person who’s good at sports to run towards the flag. Then because everyone thinks that that person’s going to take the flag for himself and he or she’s not like a diversion, most of the people will run after him. Then we all run in and one of us grabs the flag and we run for it.

I can improve by maybe talking more when we do projects together. Because I’m always the one who just sits there quietly and agrees with everyone. This is why Mr.V only lets us have one computer when we do assignments with computers in groups. So that we would TALK.

As I said, I think the area I need improvement is when I’m working in a group. Like for the health project on the nervous system I barely talked. All I said was that there’s no ink in the marker. And I just nodded my head. Also I think that I should ask more questions during class. Because I almost never ask the teacher and always ask my friends for some reason.

This is why you should be a good communicator.

It was really interesting to hear you mention that why Mr. V only lets us have one computer when we do assignments with computers in groups, because he wants us to communicate and share ideas by talking.
