My Living Museum Experience

I chose Harry Houdini because he was the world’s most best magician, and I like magic. First, we have to write a speech, a paper, and a matrix. The matrix is to help us brainstorm for the paper. The paper has to be about five paragraphs. Then we had to write the speech. The speech is what we will say at the living Museum. It should be about 30-45 seconds long. Then in art class we were supposed to draw a portrait of our person. The portrait looked so real!!!

I had to memorize the speech. I thought I was completely doomed!!! We even had to give our speech to our class two times. I eventually memorized it. I still had to figure out my costume! Good thing my mom figured it out for me. I was going to wear a white shirt with buttons and a black coat. My pants were going to be black. My hair is going to stick up a little, with a little help of hair spray.

One the day of the Living Museum, I was very worried that I forgot my speech, but I didn’t. Even though I had to say my speech over 20 times I was glad I didn’t forget my speech. It’s just that people didn’t believe me that I drew the portrait myself. They think I just printed it. Gosh, they don’t take art classes, what do they know about art? It was really fun that day. 🙂
