After Christmas, my mom and I went to Taipei. We took the high speed railway to there, then we took the subway to my mom’s friend house. I think Taipei’s traffic system are all very connivance and organized. So it’s very fast to go to the places that you want to go. The subway is also very cheap too, because the government built it. We went to the Taipei Zoo on the first day. There were so many animals in the zoo. The ticket only cost 30NT for me, my mom cost 60NT but it is still very cheap. The best part of the zoo is the panda and the koala. They were so cute and we visited them at the right time to see the panda because the panda was eating. We even video tape him. We were also at the right time to see the koala. Because they were not sleeping. Koala usually sleep 20 hours a day, so we were very lucky to see them moving, playing and eating. I love panda and koala. I already went to Taipei zoo three times. It is great to visit them again.

We went to Taipei 101 the next day. We also took the subway to there. It’s so easy to get there. It only took us 5 minutes. We went to see the auto show. There were so many cars. It was so cool, because I never saw so many new cars at one place. I saw many racing cars. Every car was all so shiny, because they are all new. The staff of the show even let us play the racing games. I tried it once. It was fun. The staff even gave me a shirt. Because my time was 1 minute and 37 seconds. They said if your time is under 1 minute and 40 seconds, then you can win a t-shirt. I was lucky. It is the first time I went to see an auto show. It is bigger than I thought and it is very interesting.

The last day, we went to Taipei 101 for the New Year fireworks. We arrived there at 7 P.M.. There were so many people at there. But we had a secret ring, so we can go into a place that had much few people, It’s adidas basketball court. You need to get the ring to go inside. It is free but there are only 1000 rings. My mom called the staff before we went to Taipei so we can get the admission. It’s a really good place to see the fireworks. The court is just next to Taipei 101 and there were many seats so we didn’t stand up for such a long time. There were basketball games too so we didn’t feel boring. At 12 P.M, we count down for the New Year. Then the fireworks started. It was very beautiful. Everything was so colourful and shiny. Everyone shouted and said happy New Year. It was the first time my mom and I saw the New Year fireworks in person. It was a great trip to Taipei.
