The meaning of effort is something done by exertion or hard work, while result means something that happens as a consequence; outcome. (Dictionary.com). I believe that result is way more important than effort. Why do we put in effort? The answer to it is because we want to get a good result from it. Many jobs and colleges only look at the result you get. Colleges judge you only by your letter grades not the process you did . People don’t care how you get the result, they just want to know what is the result.

Results had always been important for me. Results had affected me a lot throughout my life time. During the Summer, I went to a coding camp. During that time, I was one of the best students in there. Towards the end of the camp, we took a “final exam” on coding and my result was great. The grade was great which built up my confidence and encouraged me to continue to study coding after the program. I found my new passion and I am also good with it. During my free time, I would often search on how to code and expand my knowledge on coding, all because of the good test result I got from the camp.

Results are more important than effort. It could be justified in the story, The Fish by Huang, Chun-ming. The main characters are Ah-Cang and his grandpa. Grandpa was always desired to eat a fish. Ah-Cang wanted to make his grandpa happy by bringing a fish back. Throughout the way of his return to grandpa’s house, he accidently dropped the fish. Grandpa was shocked when he found out there was no fish. This showed that he was sad that Ah-Cang didn’t achieve the result that grandpa hoped. Grandpa didn’t really care about the effort Ah-Cang took to bring the fish back. Ah-Cang putting in a lot of effort, but there was no result which made grandpa very disappointed and also caused grandpa to not believe in Ah-Cang.

In summary, results are more important than effort, but I disagree with the implications of only looking at the results. I think that in today’s society, we put too much emphasis on result than effort. Sadly, this is what people care about…

I like how you added a picture, making your blog look more eye appealing. I also agree to the fact that the grandpa couldn’t care less about the effort as long as he brought the fish back. I think your organization is formatted well, because every paragraph has their own idea. I think your last paragraph is a bit unclear, because you talked about results are more important than effort, but you ended with people are putting too much emphasis on result.

I really like way you explain what are result and effort, then gradually move to the main part of the post. This guides the audience why result are more important then effort.
i like how you first list why you think result is more important which makes the reader being more curious about”why”,then after explaining why you think result is more important.
Then you relate your ideas to the story “The Fish” proving your ideas are right.

Good idea to use the image to express one’s topic as well as inform the potential readers about what this post is about.
It is almost always a good idea to identify and to some degree respond to the opposing side, which you did
Pulls from personal and story example, I personally feel the story should be emphasized more than the personal experience in this case. However, this works fine as well.
Suggest thinking about the topic/title of the blog post more as I don’t think it should be phrased in the form of a question, also maybe try being a little more assertive at the title.
