Bob’s Tragic Death

Bob was murdered in the park by Johnny last night, at 9:00 pm. It’s very shocking and tragic.

Last night, when Bob was threatening Ponyboy, he said this to Ponyboy. “You know what a greaser is? White trash with long greasy hair. You could use a both, greaser. And a good working over. And we’ve got all night to do it. Give the kid a bath, David.” It seems very ironic now.

Ponyboy is a fourteen-year-old boy who belongs a lower-class group of Oklahoma.This group is called greasers because of their greasy long hair. Johnny is a sixteen-year-old greaser who sees the greasers as his family. Ponyboy saved him before. Bob is the leader of Socs, the greaser’s enemy. The Socs is upper class youths who come from West side of town. The socs always fighted and bullied the greasers. Last night around 9:00 pm, Johnny and Ponyboy were alone at the park alone. Then Bob and his Socs came with him. They saw Johnny and Ponyboy, so they started to threatening Ponyboy. Bob was trying to drown Ponyboy with some of the other Socs in front of Johnny. Johnny became so scared, he stabbed and killed Bob, the leader of the gang. Johnny saved Ponyboy’s life but killed Bob.

This was a really hard decision for Johnny. He can either choose to kill Bob so that Ponyboy wouldn’t die from drowning. Or he can choose to run away, but leaving Ponyboy to die.

Johnny had to do the right choice, saving his friend is really brave. It’s kind of tragic accident that Johnny killed Bob, he should just injure Bob and call the police, so no one will get killed. Even though Bob bullied the greasers a lot, but it is still a really sad news.
