There was a secret meeting tonight and I had to be there. After finishing dinner I went to the place where the meeting was. I was at my school. Everybody in 7th grade knew this meeting, except one person: Matthew Chang. Why was he not in the meeting? Well, we wanted to make a small yearbook for him because he will leave this semester. I’m the leader of this meeting so I must be at there. However we don’t want him to discover this “small yearbook” that we made, so we need to make it secretly without letting him knowing it. We want to give him a surprise! That’s why we have this secret meeting.

I am going to hand out some papers, so my classmates can write down the things or draw some pictures that they want to say to Matthew. After everybody finishes writing on the paper I am going to collect the paper that each person has made. Then I am going to use those papers that my classmates have written and make it into a book. At last I finished making the small yearbook for Matthew. I think that Matthew will be really surprise! We are going to invite Matthew to a Christmas party so we can give it to him in the party. I hope that the plan will work.

The day has finally come. We all went to the Christmas party. Matthew was at there. Everybody was playing around. At the end of the Christmas party we finally gave Matthew the small yearbook that we had made. Matthew was sad and happy at the same time. He was crying with joy. We all feel sad at the same time, because he is leaving. He is going to Singapore for his new school. It was a sad and a happy day. We all will miss you, Matthew!
