What building techniques make the tower stronger?
Making the base of the tower stronger by building the base in a triangle like base because I personally think that it is efficient materials which means we can use fewer materials to build a strong base.
Does the placing of the marshmallow affect the strength of the tower?
Yes, it would make the tower titled or become unbalanced, we could have made another spaghetti tower to hold the titled tower spaghetti tower.
Could you build a stronger tower with more of the same materials? What alternative materials would be better?
Does the size of the base alter the strength of the tower?
Yes, so that we have more resources to stronger the base and strengthen the body tower.
I think things with harder materials would be better alternative materials, such as chopsticks.
Yes, the size of the base alters the strength of the tower, because if the base is more steady, it can hold a heavier tower.
How do you think you worked as a group? Did you assume different roles? Did all groups work in the same way?
No, we didn’t assume roles, everyone worked for the parts that were missing, if I build a part of the base, the other two people would build up the other two bases for the tower.

Unit 5 Waves–Reflection on Musical Instrument
In unit 5, we explored waves, for the summative in this unit, we had to make a musical instrument to demonstrate our knowledge to waves, my question for the experiment is How does the tension of the string (rubber band) affect the frequency of the sound emitted when plucked?
What was the hardest part of this task? Easiest?
The hardest part of this task was measurement, I couldn’t measure the distance accurately which caused some errors occurred during the experiment. Also, building the instrument made the task became harder, it is also due to distance, the distance the string and the size of the soundhole could not be measured accurately.

My procedures for this experiment are successfully created and they were mostly followed correctly, However, they still need to be more detailed due to some errors occurred during the experiment which means I have to improve on the details in the next time.
How successful was your instrument in the 5 tests? Which test(s), if any, did your instrument fail? Be honest! Discuss your ideas on how to improve your instrument. There were some measurement errors in the model. However, I controlled them pretty well except the measurement error as I mentioned in the first question. My instrument worked pretty well, it sounded as I expected.
Discuss why you built the instrument you did? Do you play a similar instrument? Was it an instrument you thought would be easy to be successful building, intrigued or challenged you? I built three guitar models for the experiment, I like how string instrument sound when plucked, I also play guitar in real-life.
I expected this to be very hard because it was hard to control the distance of the strings.
Unit 4 Energy | Science Reflection
In unit 4 we explored about energy, we had done several research projects to show our knowledge to this unit, we also had a debate in which we had to apply our knowledge to the debate, for this project, I chose wind power as the “best” energy resource due to its efficiency and how cost-effective it is to generate electricity, debate was a really great activity for us to apply our previous knowledge to the project, and it improved many of our skills based on IB learner profile, such as knowledgeable, communicator, thinker, and inquier, we could demonstrate more than one skill on learner profile, I demonstrate communicator through this project because I communicated with my teammates and discuss how to debate, throughout the discussion, I think I was being a thinker becuase we had to think a way or ways to provide counter arguments to the opponent’s debate team. Lastly, I think I was also being an inquirer and demonstrated knowledgeable because I asked questions for more information about wind energy and apply my knowledge to the project.
I think what makes my persuasive essay more persuasive is I provided reliable and detailed evidence, I also showed contradictory evidence to the readers which make the whole essay sounds more reliable, even though I provided contradictory evidence, I argue with my evidence at last, such as providing as many solutions I could and tell the readers using wind power is actually better than using other energy resource and then provide why the other energy resources are not the best choice to generate power. I used a technique of providing the cons of other energy resources and provide the pros of wind power.
