Chemistry Unit Reflection

How much did you know about Chemistry when we started?

I barely knew about Chemistry when we started the unit, I could only remember some of the simple elements in the periodic table such as sodium, hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, only a few elements and I didn’t know about its atomic mass. However, throughout this unit, I learned a lot about Chemistry and also Stochiometry, I wasn’t familiar with Stoichiometry when we started the unit, I didn’t know how to convert the factors and how to do the calculation, but this unit helped me a lot to prepare stoichiometry for the 9th grade.
What learner profile best describes your approach to this unit?

Over this unit, I think I demonstrated knowledge and I was being a thinker, we learned about stoichiometry which is about converting chemical elements, we had to apply our knowledge to converting factors to stoichiometry in order to successfully convert balance and convert the equations.
Considering you will have Chemistry next year in G9–how will you prepare for the class over the summer?
What is one goal you will set for yourself for the Chemistry class next year?

My goal is to reach a higher grade level, and one of my goal for this summer is to memorize the whole periodic table so that it would be easier for me to reach a higher grade next year in chemistry.
