On September 22th, 2017 we’ve completed unit of Mitosis and Meiosis.
over this unit, we were studying about Mitosis and Meiosis, two ways of reproduction of cells.
Mitosis: mitosisĀ is a process of cell division that results in two genetically identical daughter cells developing from a single parent cell. there are 6 phases will occur during the process of mitosis. The first phase is interphase, interphase has 3 different steps, which is interphase G1, S, and G2. this process will make cells duplicated itself, in G1, the cell will get bigger, then during S, it duplicated itself, during G2, the cell will double checks the duplicated chromosomes for errors in which to prepare for prophase.
prophase is the processĀ that separates the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells
metaphase: the chromosomes that carry the genetic information align in the equator of the cell before they split into two daughter cells with identical genetic material.
Anaphase: during this process, the chromosomes will break from the centromere.cetromere is the center of a chromosome.
telophase: this process separate the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical, there will be a ring appears between two cells which are called contractile ring.
Cytokines: the cell splits into two cells, and the new cell will eventually replace the old cell.
